Scarefest Weekend @ Central Bank Center

LEXINGTON, KY. (May 30, 2025) – Horror fans, get ready to scream. ScareFest Weekend, one of the largest horror and paranormal conventions in the United States, returns Friday through Sunday, October 17–19, 2025, to Central Bank Center in downtown Lexington, Kentucky, for its biggest year yet.

Now in its 17th year, ScareFest Weekend 17 will feature over 90 celebrity guests, 200 unique vendors, and a full weekend of hair-raising panels, immersive events, and unforgettable encounters. This year’s VIP packages sold out in under 10 minutes—proof that the ScareFam is more ravenous than ever for the horror they love.

Major highlights include:

• Celebrity appearances from icons including Robert Englund (A Nightmare on Elm Street), Juliette Lewis (Yellowjackets), and David Giuntoli (Grimm)
• A rare and chilling close-up with the actual Annabelle doll, on display as part of the Warrens’ Occult Museum Experience
• ScareFest Ink, a full-scale tattoo convention featuring 25+ horror-inspired artists and live tattoo contests
• The return of WickedBeard’s Cosplay Showdown with celebrity judges and a $500 top prize
• Nightly after-hours events like Horror Drag Theater, paranormal investigations, Scaryoke, and immersive horror games
• Live podcast events including the fan-favorite Talk Scary to Me: LIVE! with Danielle Harris and Scout Taylor-Compton
• A robust independent horror film festival running all weekend long
