Ieasha Boyd Allen

Ieasha Boyd Allen – Owner & Founder, Creaux and The Melroy

Ieasha is the co-founder/owner of Creaux, a jazz bar in downtown Lexington, and the founder/owner of the upcoming private social club, The Melroy, in downtown Lexington, that aims to bridge social barriers of connection between various groups, authentically and responsibly. She left her professional career in marketing to pursue her entrepreneurial interests, which also includes in investing in commercial property with her husband, Dougie Allen. She graduated from the University of Kentucky with her Bachelor’s of Science and pursued and gradated with her MBA from Midway University, where she now resides on the Board of Trustees.

Aside from business, her grounding force are her three children. She is strongly passionate about intentional parenting and making sacrifices to ensure that children lack nothing while pursuing her own passions. She truly enjoys watching her children thrive and nurturing their growth. “It is my first ministry. I cannot put out into the world what I am not willing to put into my own household, and so anything I do or considering doing is only considered after the question, “How does this take away from my family?”

Ieasha engages in community service through her board work with various organizations, including Midway University Board of Trustees and The Downtown Lexington Historic Courthouse but has many personal passions, such as traveling, cycling, and advocating for mental health.
